I am very pleased with the progress my daughter made with the program through Lindamood-Bell. I can tell a big improvement in her reading fluency and her spelling. All of the instructors were wonderful and made the experience fun for my daughter. She was very comfortable with them and interacted with them as if she had known them for years. This place works miracles. It is very expensive, but can you put a price on the ability to read? My son is autistic, 4th grade in one of the best schools in Clay County, and was just being passed from grade to grade all while barely reading at a kindergarten level, meaning he couldn't read. After a little over 3 months at Lindamood Bell, he went 26 hours a week, he is now reading at about a 2nd grade level. The staff at this location are very caring, they nearly cried with me when I saw the much improved test scores.
