I switched from a big bank to this credit union wanting to have something local. Unfortunately I’m regretting my decision. The hours are not compatible with my work schedule and the customer service is lack luster. You cannot deposit cash at the ATM, no deposit slips in the overnight box, ect. They also have shorter account numbers that not all companies take. When you sign up they tell you sometimes you need the longer one, but only put the short one on your laminated card and website. I went in last week in hopes of opening an account, gave the man at the front my ID and voter registration, he was looking at my ID all weird as if it was fake, or something then after about 15 minutes I finally get called into the office, the lady started asking me all these questions about where I use to live because the lady said my Michigan ID “has a big dark spot on it” in response I pulled out my military ID and gave it to her and said “well if you think my ID is fake here’s my... read more
