I had a terrible experience trying to transfer my funds to a different brokerage. My new broker, who has years of experience, said this was the most difficult transfer process he had ever encountered due to the lack of cooperation in providing the necessary documents. Additionally, I requested records for stocks purchased four years ago to file my taxes, but my former broker refused to provide them. I have no idea how this place stays in business. No one answers the phone, no one returns a message. I question whether they are a legitimate business.
I called several times and left messages and no one returned my calls. I sent a document in December and still no one responded. So I called to follow up. I even emailed one of the reps. To no avail. I’m very disappointed.
No consideration for their clients privacy or secured documents. I've been receiving mail for one of their clients for more than five years and I've attempted many times to tell them that person doesn't live here and they haven't changed anything. Horrible customer service and terrible privacy and security protocols. Also clearly aren't following up with clients.
I recently contacted Ricky Boone with Lincoln Investment to close my father’s account after his passing which was a few weeks ago. I sent the requested papers and called today, a week later to follow up. I expressed to Ricky after one phone call that there was some urgency because of lack of life insurance and such. He scolded me and told me I am on his nerves! I have never been so insulted and disgusted in my life. My Father just died! Who does that?!? Also, what kind of professional speaks to someone that way? Horrible …..
