BBQ Food – I visited the restaurant in Liverpool NY; it was awful Poor quality (dry and tasteless beef what should have been brisket; cut very thick... just bad) waitress had very limited knowledge of product and not helpful at all; will not go again :(
BEST BBQ JOINT IN SYRACUSE – Anyone who doesn't like this place is nuts. The food here is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the service is fun and friendly. I've eaten here a number of times getting everything from Burgers, Ribs, Chicken, sandwiches, and more. Their Philly Cheese steak is phenomenal. The Worst barbecue in Syracuse – This is the worst Barbecue restaurant I have ever been to. I had an order of ribs that had very little flavor to them and no BBQ sauce was offered for them. My wife had smoked wings and they too suffered from a lack of sauce. The side dishes, with one exception, sucked. The Jalapeno corn bread was the only good thing that I had. I love this bar!!! – I have to say, this bar is just like the song, its my kind of place. My friends and I frequent this bar on an almost weekly basis and it is fantastic. This bar used to be a chain restaurant and the owner Chuck has done a wonderful job disguising that fact. The decor is South-West cheesy and it works great. THE OWNER NEEDS TO KNOW – The owner of LIMP LIZZARD should be told about his employees, good/great customer service is vital to small business owners. I'm sure the owner would of corrected any situation to the customers satisfaction. Give LIMP LIZZARD another chance and any problems in any establisment should be brought to the owner/management ASAP.
Great Pork Sandwiches – I have visited the lounge several times and each time it was a very pleasant experience. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I have ordered a number of different menu items but my favorite is the pork sandwich it was gigantic and delicious. I have order several different sides with my sandwiches and they have been very generous and delicious. I am looking forward to my next visit which will be 02/18/2007.
Great food and great service... what more could you ask for? – I would highly suggest coming here for a hearty lunch or dinner. If you are not so hungry, you can always order your meal with "no sides" and subtract two bucks. The wraps are delicious, the burritos awesome, and the pizza to die for. Any day is a great day to visit!
Not As Good As Expected – In a strange craving to find the best chicken wings in Syracuse, I was curious about Limp Lizard's Smoked Wings that I had heard of. I thought if char-grilled were great, then smoked would be out of this world. At the very least I thought they would be OK. Well I was disappointed...big time! Slow Service but Great Food – This place has great food and drinks but the service is slow. I would suggest ordering 2 drinks at once, haha. Definitely worth going to if you are patient. I love the salads. Also the chili is really good and the black bean soup is excellent. It is a pretty small bar and there are not always very many people there. What is really interesting is that there are real Lizards in the middle of the lounge.
