Very enjoyable evening with friends. Good food, Beverage and service. Will definitely return when I'm in town!
The chicken was seasoned well, but dry. The mac n cheese had cold un-melted cheese all over it. The live music was so unbelievably loud I couldn't hear my wife sitting right next to me. It's just 1 acoustic guitar in a restaurant setting. It was mind-boggling how loud it was. But the real issue was the "brisket". I'm not convinced the fatty, overcooked, sauce-drowned piece of shoe leather they gave me was actually brisket at all. Never had such a tough/chewy piece of "brisket" in all my life. "I've been to Limp Lizard BBQ multiple times, and every visit has been excellent. My most recent meal was outstanding—the brisket was tender and flavorful, the pulled pork was moist and delicious, and the wings were phenomenal. The mac and cheese and collard greens were both excellent, and the three-meat combo plate was worth every penny. The beer was cold, the service was friendly, and the overall experience was top-notch.
