I am so impressed with Dr. Shafer! She really has effective techniques for helping me open up, express emotions, and release uncomfortable feelings. I have more than a few counselors and psychotherapists and Kathy is one of the very best!

When I arrived at my first appointment, I could immediately tell that this was not going to be a "run of the mill" boring therapy session. Dr. Shafer's office is an eclectic space with a great vibe. I have only had a few appointments with Dr. Shafer so far, and I am amazed at my progress. I feel quite fortunate that I came upon her practice. Her untraditional style really gets results and promotes a comfortable but professional environment. She offers innovative sessions and personal attention. Thank you Dr. Shafer!

Dr. Kathy has so much training, call her! As a consultee of Dr. Kathy, the encouragement, training, support and knowledge I have received from her has continued to assist me in helping my clients find their own personal healing. She is passionate about helping others and this shines through in how she supports other therapists expand their own tool box.
