I am very surprised at the negative reviews. I have been shopping at Lilly Pulitzer at Legacy Village since last summer. Usually, when I go shopping, it is a spur of the moment decision and I am frequently “dressed down”. Unlike some of the other stores that I used to go to, I have always been pleasantly greeted by Lilly Pulitzer’s entire staff and everyone that I have come in contact with is very attentive to my needs. This store has been consistently rude but I put up with it because I like the clothes. Now I am officially done shopping here and at Lilly after being a loyal customer for 5 years. Most recently, I was two days past a 30 day return policy just thinking maybe they could do an exchange for a larger size and they said no. It’s not just the no, it’s the rudeness like how dare I bring clothes back to return them.
The store has a lovely ambiance and a warm, welcoming vibe. Everything is well-organized and pleasant. The ladies working there are friendly, helpful, and truly add to the overall positive experience. It’s a great place to stop by—comfortable, clean, and customer-focused. Definitely worth a visit!
I love the store in Florida that I usually go to, but here, I felt like a homeless person invading their space. One of the sales person set me up to try on some slacks and while in there another sales lady started banging on the door and accused me of wandering in. She then told me to get the items out that another customer had. There were none. The whole experience was demeaning and rude. I won’t be back.
