I knew when I visited 3 years ago, Lilac would be a great place for my mother. The facilities and staff are great, and best of all, it was located close to family and friends. I genuinely appreciate the staff's attentiveness, I could call/text whenever I had a question on something. I'm so happy my mother could live out her final years here. Lilac will always be near and dear to my heart.
I am very thankful that my mother was able to find a room at Lilac Homes in Dilworth. The CNAs, staff, nurses, and owners kept her comfortable during the last months of her life.
My 96 year old mom was very angry and not eating when we moved her to Lilac. Within a day she was eating and settled down. The caregivers were so caring and just amazing with mom. She started smiling and was our mom again. They had her playing bingo and she even won some games. They called her grandma, made her feel like family and loved her. Excellent staff….caring / knowledgeable people …. love them. Do a stellar job on activities and engaging the residents .
When I went to visit my wife one day after she had been at Lilac Home Memory for about one week, the nursing staff told me that your wife is very sad today. When I asked my wife what she was so sad about she said that she was afraid that she would have to leave this place since she had no money to pay for staying there.
