Ed is extremely unprofessional and hits on you (makes you come into the city for a meeting that turns out has NOTHING to do with your taxes at all). He makes assumptions about your financial situation, that skew your taxes (how much you'd like to put into certain accounts) so at the end of year what you had been planning to pay is incorrect, even when he has been saying you've been overpaying. We had a file processed by Ligris & Associates in 09, this year while selling the home we found of a number of issues that Ligris bypassed during their closing. Many title issues, improper discharge, before writing this review I reached out to them and never received an answer. No attention to detail nor proper diligence performed. I would not recommend. We did purchase title insurance, but that did not help with time being an issue.
Used this firm for a transaction in Weston, MA. Nothing but wonderful things to say! We had a few curve balls thrown our direction down the home stretch, and it was navigated painlessly by the team.
