12 year Lightspeed X point of sale customer here. Recently received a notice that if I do not switch to Lightspeed Payments they will charge me a 0.5% fee on all POS transactions. Their payments platform is not competitive when compared to real financial institutions such as Moneris, Global, Elevon, TD, etc. This 0.5% fee would increase my monthly bill by about 150% with no additional services being provided.
