These folks enabled my abusive mother to continue physically, verbally, and emotionally abusing me, and were responsible for the decision to involuntarily put me on antidepressants as a teenager. I would not recommend this center to anyone seeking actual healing. My experience as a queer young women growing up in a high control religious group is that they are nothing but an effective cover for Christian-adjacent abusers to displace responsibility for the consequences of their actions onto their children.
Graham Pinkerton: You have helped me in ways no one else has. You healed me. I felt like human trash until your honeyed words and firm affirmation made me pass out on the chaise and we did dream therapy together. It was magical. Now, whenever I have nightmares of men with scissors I know that relief is but a call and a three month wait away.
