Our son just started at Lightbridge Academy last week, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The staff is incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail, making the transition to daycare so much easier for both our son and us as parents. The communication is excellent—they keep us updated throughout the day with photos and notes about his activities, meals, and naps. Ms. Joyce and the entire Lightbridge Academy (Downtown Brooklyn) staff currently provide exceptional care for my 3.8-year-old daughter. I cannot thank them enough for all that they do to keep my daughter safe, healthy, and happy. The school is kept clean, and the teachers are highly organized and experienced. An additional bonus for parents is the daily access to the classroom via WatchMeGrow. It will be a sad day when our daughter outgrows the school once she turns 5 years old! Keep up the great work, everyone!
I really like the program, my daughter is learning so much! They focus on the typical learning items like colors and shapes as well as teaching her how to be a good friend and cleaning up after herself. I appreciate that the staff is responsive and we get many updates throughout the day. I also enjoy having the video monitoring as it allows me to get a peek into my child’s day and also gives me additional security about the safety of the center.
Used for backup care for a few years until our child aged out. The facilities and staff are amazing. She was always well cared for and she was always happy to go. Felt like family and we are sad that she aged out.
Beautiful center! I love that it has a private and secure outdoor play space.
