Newest Update: Our oldest daughter started at Lightbridge when she was 18 months old, and recently graduated preschool. We are very happy with the care and education she has received throughout the years. Ms Erin and Mr. Nick were fantastic preschool teachers and she is beyond prepared for kindergarten. Her handwriting has improved greatly and she can even read sight words. They also have great events like pre-K prom and graduation. Both of my daughters have been going to Lightbridge Academy in Mountain Lakes over the past few years and I can't say enough wonderful things about the teachers and the facility. All of the teachers have been incredible and caring with both of my girls and I appreciate all they do so much. I know it isn't easy being with young children all day, but you would never be able to tell by the professionalism and love that I have experienced at each drop off a pick up every day. We had an awful experience here. Classrooms are tiny. Some staff are great but they are understaffed and most of the staff have no background in education. Staff comes and goes constantly. The director is an unpleasant person. And she made unreasonable demands on us then eventually told us to get a 1 to 1 aide for my son or he'd have to leave. My pediatrician wouldn't advocate for the aide because she saw no medical issues that would warrant such a request. Just a very unpleasant experience.
