I have some mixed feelings about this preschool based on my experience. One of the main concerns is the high turnover rate among staff, which has resulted in a lack of consistency and stability for the children. This constant change makes it difficult for kids to form strong attachments or feel secure in their environment. As a parent, I feel deeply disappointed and heartbroken for having placed my daughter in LB Academy through the Bayonne Board of Education. Looking back, I feel like I failed her by trusting this environment to nurture her growth and education. The difference in how the students from the Board of Education side were treated compared to those on the "private" side was painfully obvious. Love love love this place! As a new mom it was a tough decision finding the right daycare. I decided to go with Lightbridge in Bayonne because of the environment and proximity to my job. The staff, I mean all of the staff, were so good to my daughter. They allowed her to explore as we came and went for the day. They all took the time to say hi and get to know my baby. I can say that we’ve been so happy with LB Bayonne. Our son has grown tremendously in so many ways with the support and love his teachers have provided. They created a classroom that taught him more than all the letters and numbers, but how to help others and be respectful of others. He has become very independent and well prepared for kindergarten and I couldn’t be more thankful.
