Two thumbs up to the staff at Lifetime Eye Care. My husband had managed to ruin the lenses on his no-line bifocals to the point that they were no longer usable. Since relocating to the Holton area, we had not needed to utilize the services of an optometrist or optician until now. I’ve had MS for 25 yrs so I’ve seen a lot of eye doctors through the years but I’ve never had an optometrist like Dr Niehues do such a thorough exam of my eyes. I loved the way she explained each “exam” (xray’s) with me in a way I could understand. I highly recommend this group of optometrist- the whole team worked well together!

My mother is over 90 years old and she is an exam patient but when screw fell out of her glasses she was charged $40.00 for a less than ten minute fix. She was not told of the charge prior but had just asked if they could put a new screw in her lenses, She was so shocked when they then said it was a $40.00 charge. Just for a screw. We will be looking elsewhere for exams and glasses.

Eye exam was good but twice now they have given me a eye exam that my insurance won't pay for and I have to pay out of pocket. Both times they were instructed to give exam insurance would pay for but I end up paying. For these reasons I will never recommend lifetime!!
