2024ish : I had been a client for several years. It was a valuable resource for me with my neurodivergencies and anxiety. I needed to attend PT and was down to my last few visits for OT/PT. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the environment felt supportive. However, I did not receive the level of communication or clarity I was hoping for regarding the goals and overall plan for my daughter’s care. As a parent investing significant time, energy, and strategy into supporting my child, understanding the methods, measurable goals, and observed progress is very important to me. From a student observer’s perspective, this clinic is a highly holistic and client-centered OT setting. The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces strongly supports meaningful therapy across the lifespan and is unlike any setting I have previously observed. The faculty and staff were genuinely welcoming and clearly knowledgeable, which made the environment feel supportive and inviting.

Huge shout out to the team at Life Span Occupational Therapy, with special emphasis on Keisha Laguer Vandessppooll. Keisha has gone above and beyond in assisting my son with navigating the challenging process of getting through insurance, referrals, and care. My son has been receiving occupational therapy from Ms. Jacqueline for the past two years and I cannot recommend her services enough. When my son first started working with Ms. Jacqueline, he was struggling with behavioural and fine motor skills. This made tasks like holding a pencil, buttoning his shirt, and having control of his body difficult and frustrating for him.
