Genuinely an unsafe company to entrust your loved ones to!! One of the lawsuits against them mentioned how they paid 365,000 to loved ones of an end stage M.S patient. They entered the facility with noted history of susceptibility to pressure ulcers. The resident later developed a stage IV pressure ulcer while in LLCA's care, and developed an infection from the open wound. Life Care Centers of America is a big corporate chain of nursing homes that seems to not "care" about "life" at all. My father spent almost 6 weeks in one of their facilities in North Carolina and went straight downhill. We received almost no communication from LifeCare and when we did get updates they were completely inaccurate and incomplete.
