Not enough nurses for the amount of patients, my grandmother called for the nurse to help use the rest room and it took 2 and a half hours for anyone to come in. I think this is inhumane, I live in another state but i will now be finding a job and moving back to take care of her seeing as this place doesn't have the staff to do so. If they dont have enough nurses they shouldn't have this many patients!

They didn't shower my dad for 8 days, and they lost two pairs of his brand-new pants ( and no one would contact me to follow up about finding them after several tries). Also, if you are on pain medication, expect to wait for a while to get it. Communication is not good between the different staff, as my dad had an outside appointment, but no one coordinated his follow-up appointments with the drivers. My mother stayed at Monument Health Millcreek for a few weeks. Staff was great and attentive. Sharon in the front office was awesome and helped us with any of our insurance questions and needs. Glad that my mom was here during her recovery.
My mother was a long term care patient at Monument Health, formally Life Care for a little over six and a half years. She could also be extremely difficult and held people to a very high standard. I was the only person overseeing her care and I learned a few things along the way. I think it is very important to share this information.
