My mother was a long term care patient at Monument Health, formally Life Care for a little over six and a half years. She could also be extremely difficult and held people to a very high standard. I was the only person overseeing her care and I learned a few things along the way. I think it is very important to share this information. I cannot express to you feeling of relief I feel that my grandfather is in very capable and skilled hands of caregivers that are not only trained and know what their doing, but they also care very much. My grandfather is here currently, I cannot express how much relief I feel when it comes time to leave, I no longer have to worry about the staff either not paying attention or have too many other patients to care for, their care team always has an update for me, and help my grandfather to feel cared for and supported. Monument Health does not even deserve 1 star. They wouldn't listen to her or give my friend needed medicine, ice for swelling on her surgical site, and more. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to go to Monument Health.

My dad layed in bed for two weeks. They only tried to get him up on days he is wiped out from dialysis. They have taken his food from him when he said he is gonna eat cause he is hungry. Not one person has answered phone calls or passed on any information about him. The only person who would ever reach out for anything was the marketing director Sharon.
