I have been here 6 almost 7 years! They(Staff) stay on the personal phones more than they work! The staff ignores you and some staff are great. They dont allow you to have microwaves,coffee pots but hardly give you hot water for soups etc. I make $1485 a month they charge $1145 I think and give me $70 a month,where does the other $200 some odd dollars go noone seems to know? I cant this place now, but I believe it was originally called the Fitzgerald Nursing home way back when My Grandparents opened it up back in the 1950’s they were the kindest people along with amazing staff. I worked there as a young kid summers only in 1970 ish It was a place if love I promise And if anyone had a Grandparent or relative who worked int he kitchen there 1970’s -1990’s please reach out to me since I would like to thank them. If there was a way to give this facility a negative star, I would give them as many as infinity would go. One day when the truth can't be hidden anymore, it's going to be a bad day for many but a glorious day for some.
I worked at this facility from September of 2016 to October of 2020. I was fresh out of high school and a brand new CNA when I started and got most of my experience in the field working there. I adored the residents and formed great friendships with most of the staff. To say I miss my people is an understatement. Definitely need to make a visit soon…
