I didn’t expect a quick supermarket trip to be more stressful than going through airport security in the USA. I greeted the cashier warmly which of course was ignored then I enquired about the Lidl app vouchers hoping for some guidance because I was new to it. My friend and I had a genuinely disappointing experience at the Basingstoke Road Lidl yesterday due to the behaviour of one of the checkout assistants. We politely greeted her and asked for help with the Lidl app vouchers, as we’re new users. Unfortunately, our greeting was ignored, and her response was abrupt, unhelpful, and unnecessarily rude. Nice supermarket. Staff on the tills are always friendly and helpful.
Easy located just off the M4 and also has electric charging stations for EV drivers. Has express self service tills along with a fresh bakery. There is also an InPost locker located in the car park.
