We recently visited Snow Island at Lanier Islands, and overall it wasn’t worth the money. If you plan to purchase discounted tickets do it at least two days in advance. Buying online the day before costs the same as paying at the gate, and that isn’t clearly advertised. The lines moved quickly, and the rides were fun but limited. The attached photos speak for themselves. Bought tickets in advance, got notified that they changed their last open weekend to this weekend on Friday, 7 days before our trip. So too late to get a refund on our lodging. Fully understand hours are subject to change, especially due to weather and such. But not everyone is staying at Margaritaville, or is just popping by from a few minutes over. Also, blind copy is a thing, I don't need everyone who bought tickets contact email. Save your money. This place was such a let down. The line to do the snow tubing was CRAZY long. Took my kids 40 min to wait in line. They didn’t have enough staff to keep all the snow tubing lanes open- so they only had 3 lanes running. The snow ball area is so small and is basically just ice. $60 per person is insane— and not worth it.
Fine, except glacier cafe completely changed the menu from what is on the boards. No longer includes a drink because $16 for a ham and cheese isn’t enough. Turn the boards off if it isn’t right the people there have to explain everything to everyone customer. Unrealized expectations are the worst form of customer service.
