I met with Mark a few months ago and was advised that Chapter 13 was my only viable option, along with being told I would be unable to work during the repayment period. He also stated that Chapter 7 was possible, but would be “a lot more expensive.” Because the guidance didn’t sit right with me, I sought a second opinion, thankfully. Another attorney reviewed my situation and was able to file a Chapter 7 with no complications whatsoever. I strongly recommend seeking additional opinions before moving forward.
