Unfortunately, Liberty Tax has been the WORST tax prep experience I have ever had. I went into one of the nearby locations back in April of 2021 to file my 2020 taxes. The tax preparer was very nice and professional, she took all my information and said she would call me when the return was ready. Keep in mind, this was a Covid year and things were moving slower than normal and I was even cautioned that refunds would probably be several months before being ready. Had to do my parents taxes. They have annuities they had to cash, and a multitude of other 1099s and other tax forms. Had no idea how to file these. The tax professional was thorough, knowledgeable, and he read the room properly. I just didn’t feel like chitchatting. So I let him do his work, and didn’t feel the need to show pictures of my kids, or my dog, useless chitchat. Yes, he was friendly, gregarious and pleasant, but he didn’t talk me to death either.
