I come here to read the reviews as well as review mine and my husband’s experience with Liberty Tax, Cold Lake. Initially I wasn’t going to mention Tolas name but I’m seeing he’s already in 1 star reviews here. They are right, don’t trust him. Took several thousands of dollars from my husband EACH year for several years and it’s not like my husband’s taxes are even complex. He was taken advantage of while picking his first accountant ever. Avoid this business and Tola specifically.
I am an ironworker by trade so I work for multiple companies a year. Had three years and 25 roes to imput. I was quoted a normal amount previous to filing (I think 150$). He took almost a month to do them i kept calling every 3-4 days. Eventually I just went to his office. When I got there i was hit with a bill for a thousand dollars. I had just broken my leg and was off work so I just reluctantly agreed. Don't go to liberty tax they WILL rip you off
