I filed tax for 2024 with them. There was another T4 that I had missed and I went for an adjustment with them. Due that new T4 I had to pay a tax back to the government. My income was so low as well I had paid a very large amount of tuition as an international student. My basic non taxable income and tuition were added they were much higher than my actual income in Canada for that year(actually I brought that money from my savings in home country for paying tuition). Instant bad vibes sitting down with her. Felt like an interrogation. I didn't have all my info, she treated me like a tax cheater, lier, with some obvious judgement. I left, couldn't handle her company for an hour.
We had our taxes done by Liberty. Lisa was amazing to deal with. (we just found out today that our taxes last year weren’t filed) I wish I had known about Liberty and gone to them to file my taxes.
