I filed my taxes here this year (itemized deduction due to childcare expenses) and received a card confirming my federal and state return amounts. I couldn't track my refund and called a week later to confirm if my taxes had been filed and was informed that the actual federal refund amount was significantly higher. Apparently, these people charged me almost $900 to file my taxes without disclosing this to me. RUN DON’T walk from this place!!! I started filing my taxes with liberty tax since 2009, at a Hempstead location and Suffolk location owned by the same owners. ( They relocated) I’ve been using the Uniondale location since 2015, However Elsa has been preparing my taxes since 2016. She is very kind, organized detailed, answers all your questions and concerns and goes above and beyond. She takes the time to explain everything.
