Edit to add: After all that arguing I just got a letter today that my taxes were filed incorrectly and the documents I gave weren't included. By the time they argued with me that same person already did my taxes. For context we ended up doing my husband's taxes ourselves without issue but mine were already filed. I want my $200 back. Never go here. Was told we had to file jointly to get our energy tax credit despite the bill for our HVAC being in my husband's name. Google, IRS, everyone else I have spoken with has confirmed this is incorrect. When my husband called them out on it no explanation was given other than "your wife was already told you can't." Bull. I had such a great experience with Tami from Liberty Tax! She took care of our taxes extremely quick, was super professional and knowledgeable!
