Based on the strong online reviews of Liberty Moving and Storage, I was optimistic my move from NJ to MO would be as good as those who gave the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, my experience with Liberty Moving and Storage was not as good; specifically, when my belongings were delivered. Liberty/Freedom made mistakes at every step of our long-distance move. The transport was done differently than explained during sales process. The truck was late at destination (thanks for the 1% refund!). The communication was sparse throughout. High-value items were lost in the move. Packed items damaged. It seems it may be a one-off debacle given other ratings on Google but I would never use the company again.

Packers arrived late, movers arrived late, delivery arrived 6 hours late. Since unpacking, up to 12 claims due to poor packing and protection of furniture during transit. Lost items off furniture including bolts to baby grand piano leg and casters on wood, in-laid liquor cabinet. Damaged Craftsman rolling tool cabinet. No support after the move. Only from Mayflower, you get one claim in 9 months. How do you live with damaged furniture until all claims are discovered. There is so much damage.

We had to move an office from the east coast to the middle of the country in a fairly short window of time. This process could have been difficult (at best) to navigate from afar.
