Our History Liberty Bank traces its history back to the decade preceding the "Gay Nineties" when a group of Ironton businessmen and workingman formed a "Terminating" type of building and loan association, chartered as "The German American Workingmen's Building Association." A certain number of men subscribed to shares and paid dues of 50 cents a share each two weeks until the subscribed shares were fully paid. Wonderful people to work with, great rates on loans. Lots of options on checking accounts, and CD’s. The employees are so friendly and welcoming.
They've always helped me & called me back
This bank has repeatedly ignored court orders on at least three occasions to allow my mother-in-law to access her money. They removed my wife's name from her mother's private account, and gave control of the account to my ex father-in-law without my mother-in-law's consent. They refuse to directly deposit my mother-in-law's half of the pension and social security directly into a separate account, forcing her to wait while they take their time allowing her to access her money.
