My 63 year old sister had a massive stroke and needs the help of a nursing home now. She was in 2 other facilities in VA before transferring her here to be closer to me. Out of the 3 nursing and rehab facilities she has been in this far the best. The staff takes the time to make the best of a situation that no one really wants to be in. They are very festive there and make things fun for the residents with a lot of activities and the participate in them and really care for the residents. If I could give zero stars I would, let me start off by saying I wouldn’t let yall baby sit my dog if it came down to it. My grandmother was sent here to RECOVER. Let me make that very clear. Not only did she not recover. She is now back in the hospital for an infection she acquired from this joke of a facility. My grandmother stated often when she could and couldn’t take shower so instead of accommodations being made she was neglected 2 weeks without a shower. Rats nest in her hair. I would like to sincerely thank Liberty Lee Sanford for their outstanding support during Henry’s stay. AllTherapy team was exceptional, and Mr .Herb went above and beyond encouraging Henry spiritually and emotionally, and helping make the impossible possible. Liberty Commons is one of the best rehabs my sister has been in. The staff were really nice and the quality of the room was very clean and neat. Lidia Cruz is one of the social there and she was excellent and outstanding!!!! She got my sister everything she needed before she went home and even called the next day for a follow up. You are in good hands with liberty I would highly recommend!
