Quote for travel time was as much as other quotes for the whole job. I'm not that far away. When I asked for clarification, I never got a response. Also wouldn't trust a company that threatens to sue people for bad reviews. Wouldn't have ever called if I had read their replies to other negative reviews, very unprofessional.
***I highly suggest to STAY AWAY from Liberty Bell Moving & Storage.*** This company uses deceptive trade practices and cares more about being “right” than keeping customers happy. In the contract, they tell you they can add a 3rd mover at their discretion and that adding a 3rd person at your expense will work out as the same, but it actually doesn’t because they charge you an hourly rate for 3 movers not just for loading and unloading of the items, but also for riding in the truck. No reply to my inquiry. Would not recommend a company that does not reply. I had a house flood and was looking for immediate help (but didn't really expect to be successful). Any reply would have been welcome. Funny how they reply within minutes of a negative review though. Guess that says all I need to know about them.
Called Liberty Bell after not hearing back from several other movers. Received an immediate callback and discussed my move and my need to do the move within two weeks. Later in the day I received a detailed proposal which worked well . Two men and a truck arrived when expected. It snowed the night before the move and I was impressed with how careful they were to remove the sandy snow from their boots. Highly recommend this place based on my recent experience with them for a move. They made the overall move less stressful for us by being on time and getting everything done professionally.
