NOT IMPRESSED: I visited Liberty Bank on Perkins Road to inquire about loan products after carefully reviewing the options listed on their website. Unfortunately, the visit was a complete waste of time. The Universal Banking Associate I spoke with was unsure which loan product would apply to my situation and had to reach out internally for assistance. By far this is the worst Black owned bank in LOUISIANA. On a weekend that I got paid my debt card stopped working and no one to help me, thank the good lord I had CAPITAL ONE on stand by. I tried to support black owned businesses but when it comes to my money access is key. I’m not going to say don’t use them BUT have back up account/plan.
I have made 2 attempts to do business with this bank. I wanted to support a black owned bank. I tried doing business Once last year and again this year. Customer service rep has no answers to any questions. She took my info twice and I have yet to hear back from anyone. By far my worse banking experience in my life. Took over 6 months to get answers about why I didn’t receive my business debit cards . Now, I’m trying to move my money out their bank. They were suppose to do a wire transfer 2 business days in a row. I’ve yet to get a call back in 2 days. Every time I call, I get the same answer. I will call you back when I get an answer. I’ve yet to get a call back.
