I am very disappointed that transfer of money to other banks is becoming impossible. This is the second month that I am having difficulty scheduling my mortgage payment to another bank. This available option was one of the primary reasons we chose Liberty Bank in the first place. Their hours can be annoying, but the service is fine and it is conveniently located.
First, as has always been a problem with liberty, is their god awful hours. The two banks in town close around 4-5 every weekday. So good luck getting there if you have a job with the hours that a normal citizen of Connecticut works. The only time I can get there is Saturday morning from 9-12. That's just what I love to do on Saturday morning, wake up early to make sure I can get to the bank. Secondly, and my main concern right now, is their atrocious online banking and mobile application. The teller (Silva) at this branch was one of the rudest tellers I have ever experienced. She spoke to me as if I were a child and would not process my transaction as asked. Extremely confrontational and unprofessional. This branch is uncomfortable and I will not be making future transactions here.
Convenient locations and fast teller and drive in service. Plus they have a walk up ATM or drive up ATM at most locations.
Liberty Bank provides ATM Rebates on what the other banks charge you when you withdraw cash from your Liberty Checking Account. This is just wonderful. I can withdraw what I need from any ATM machine and not have to worry about the ATM charges.
