This horrible bank doesnt even deserve a rating. Stay far away from that place. It is a bad place full of equally as bad of people. Dont ever decide to take a job there either unless you dont mind using your knees to get ahead. Most of the Senior VPs are sexist pigs that talk to most women subordinates as children. Also watch out for the Godfrey branch manager and her manipulative ways cause if you dont see it her way shell make your life a living hell.
I have dealt with Liberty several times in the past, You think you are going to be dealing with a home town bank, then your morgage is immediately sold to out of towners. My morgage was sold to Taylor Bean & Whitaker out of Florida, Who went belly up. I was unable to refinance, due to the fact Taylor Bean & Whitaker didnt believe my home had gone up in value, per an assesment via a licensed real estate appraiser! I couldnt agree more with the previous post. Liberty Bank is the best bank in Alton. The service is fantastic and I earn interest every month on my free checking. Unbelievable, this bank is actually paying me to be a customer!!
I just read the previous negative comment about Liberty Bank and I just wanted to set the record straight. Liberty Bank is one of the few banks left these days that really goes that extra mile for their customers. Not many Banks in town can still claim that they have personal service and a hometown atmosphere like Liberty Bank. I would give them 10 stars if it were an option!!!!!
