Poor communication. Felt like I was not getting the help I needed, nice individuals but overall just people who drag their feet and don't care. I sent a message asking about my appointment back In April and never heard a call or text back till may, when I decided to let them know I am no longer a client there, and they responded nearly the next day like nothing happened..
I have never been a tenant at the shelter, nor spent much time in the office, but a couple staff members have been helpful in the past. The office is not the shelter, and it's exclusively for women and children, so it's a great place to go if you need discretion and/or assistance or starting over somewhere else. I got some great answers to questions, honest advice, and was offered legal aid, food assistance, a roof if necessary, which never was, but they're there to listen and help.
