I love herbs and I was excited to pop in but unfortunately disappointed by the service! The lady (staff member) in a cold and dismissive way instructed me to read the labels when I attempted to get clarifying information from her about the herbal supplements I wanted to buy.
Kinda snob condescending vibes from every staff, tbh. Been there multiple times. Seems to be a prerequisite to working there. ...Which is strange because I never felt that the store owner behaved that way.
I love this place. I use herbal medicine as a first line of treatment at home and they have had everything I’ve needed. Their loose herbs and tea leaves are good quality and smell great. They are always kind and helpful, too.
Awesome location with fair prices. This store is well kept and full of a variety of items including essential oils and bulk spices. I had to go here after Berkeley Bowl stopped selling the bulk beauty products and have now become a more frequent customer.
