Went in for service. Was met by a very pleasant service rep (Thor). Was taken in early. Service was done in 1 hour. Missed the coffee and snacks, but that necessity in these very unique times.
Lexus tweeted that it is working "around the clock" on a fix, and a spokesman told Bloomberg that the problem may have been caused by an application in the software updates it delivers via satellite. Of course, requiring a battery pull to reboot is one thing when it's your laptop or phone, and an entirely different feeling on a $40,000+ luxury vehicle and the responses of owners show it. THEY CHARGE THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR A GPS REPAIR
My car went in for a recall. First repair the tech damaged the part. Had to leave car for a second day. Called to check on car and got the run around trying to find out when it was ready. Finally got the car at 5 pm.
The staff is courteous and efficient.
AWFUL experience! I brought my Lexus there after the rear got burned in a fire, knowing the collision center was Lexus certified, so logically it must be professional and good quality--Boy was I wrong! They have a bunch of liars working for them, especially Kelly, and when you try to go above to talk to a higher up, they block you at speaking to the manager only, Matt Albright, who is clueless.
