Very helpful for new residents to Lexington!
My car was down temporarily. Me and my son both leave for work at 7:50 am. It only takes me three minutes to get to work if all three stop lights on the way to my employer are green. So I'm really lucky, because I hardly burn any gas to and from work. I live a little over one mile away from my job. My boss had to temporarily change my schedule because a coworker was injured in an accident. Staff is nice. Lextran itself doesn't care about passengers. Their busses chronically run late (10-20 minutes on average). We're left standing on the side of the road on some cases, weather abound. Extraordinarily frustrating but it falls on deaf ears.
Great public service. They removed most of the covered shelter for the bus stops. You have to stand out in the weather while waiting for your bus. It takes a very long time to get across town. Plan accordingly.
