Absolutely a disaster , horrible at communicating. , will take days and weeks to get back , they only open 3-4 days a week , you would never meet Chris Lewis . I payed $79k yes $79k for them to write me a back tax payment plan ( something I could of done AI) and in the middle of my audit by the IRS they release me as a customer with a 24 hours notice
I've been using Lewis Group for both my businesses and personal taxes, for many years, and they are great! I highly recommend them.
They literally forgot to file my taxes after I paid them. They made it clear that they wouldn't file without payment, completely understandable; paid their astronomical fee and they just didn't bother to finish up their end. And now they have called regarding my review. Most prompt they have ever been with any communication. Can't get taxes filed without extensions but this gets a response within a couple hours; and they state that I am wrong and this didn't happen. Absolute trash communication. I still have yet to recieve my 2021 refund.
As a new business owner, I want to do business with local vendors and I had hired Lewis Group to do my taxes in 2020. From that time communication with anyone there has been spotty. Earlier this year, I asked for help with getting my Quickbooks account cleaned up. It took multiple requests before they would even start to look at it. Once I met with the bookkeeper they said it wasn't going to be hard and they would work on it. It took over 3 months of waiting for the work to be completed and very little communication.
