Law firms like this one are referred to as Shysters and pettifoggers. The best way to deal with them is file a truthful and complete detailed complaint with whatever state you live in Bar Association. You can also file a complaint with the Federal agency Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Their only goal to collect money by any means. They could care less about your rights or the law.
