Residents looked all dirty and depressed. And there was a foul smell of strong wee throughout the care home, applied for a job with them however took so long was waiting more than a week and then references took over 2/3weeks to get was a nightmare. Currently work for them but hate it here ! Especially the smell of the home residents are non verbal majority of them and staff treat them like rag dolls

My dad lives here, I'm so happy he's here, I know he's safe and well looked after. Credit to all the staff, they do a brilliant job and he really is made to feel he's at home and they are helpful and understanding with me too as his daughter. Credit to Manny the activities lady for managing to get my dad to join in with some of the activities, he's so shy but she manages it bless! She does some fun stuff for the residents too and pamper sessions for both men and women which they love! 🙂

What a welcoming site to see the main entrance to this home so colourful and very inviting this must cheer the residents up no end well done to manny cracking job

My 94 year old dad had lived in his own home for over 60 years, after a short spell in hospital he was unable to return home. As a family the decision to move dad into a care home was heart-breaking, how lucky we feel that a place was available at Lever Edge Care home, the amazing staff cared and looked after dad in a patient and respectful way, as a family we were listened to and made to feel welcome, every member of staff did their best for us all.
