As the owner of Senior Care Options Placement and Consulting and someone who managed assisted living facilities for 24 years, I can tell you that Leucadia House is a cut above the rest! They offer exceptional service and care. It is also owned by a physician and his wife, Cecily is the Administrator.

My mother moved into Leucadia House in February, 2017. She had been living at a retirement community independently, In her own apartment. Over the Christmas/New Year holidays she got a bad case of the flu and subsequently pneumonia. She spent a week in the hospital in quarantine, she was then sent to a skilled nursing facility for almost 2 weeks. I can't say enough good things about Leucadia House! From the moment I walked in I could tell this was a home. As difficult as it was to have my mom leave her home, I knew she would be well cared for here. Cicely, who owns and runs LH, is a genuine, caring, and hands on person. She communicates well and advocates for all of her residents. Unfortunately, my mom passed last September, but I know her last two years were spent surrounded by caregivers who REALLY cared about her.
