Great fabrics, not so great machine service If you are looking for quality fabrics this is the place to go. If you are looking to have your machine repaired look elsewhere. I had 2 machines brought in for service. One a regular sewing machine, the other a $3000 pfaff embroidery/sewing machine. The sewing machine seems okay after I brought it in, nothing better or worse. The pfaff is doing 100% worse. I haven't even been able to use it and had to go out and buy another embroidery machine to get my orders done. Not only did th... read more
Wonderful Fabrics; Knowledgeable Staff If there is a fabric store anywhere outside of the big-city fashion centers that has more beautiful fabrics than Les Fabriques, I haven't seen it. From lovely bridal silks in all textures, to embroidered Asian-inspired satins to traditionally sturdy tweeds in fun colors, Les Fabriques is a rarity in the sewing world - a store that loves fine fabric and cares about the tradition of sewing. The staff are knowledgeable sewers and are always willing to give advice or guide a novice through ... read more
Oh well... I wish it was a better place. Prices are high, sales are high pressure, and returns are impossible. I would go somewhere else.
