Made a special 4 hour trip from Galveston to buy a quarter cow…. And holy cow… This must be my first time ever eating REAL, unaltered, authentic grass fed beef. I’ve only had the ground beef so far, but let me tell you something Linda… this is the best meat I’ve ever had hands down. You MUST get your rear end down to Leon River Premium Beef and get yourself some of the best beef in the whole nation. THANK ME LATER.
This is a super good meat market and deli, deli is Wednesday through Friday 10-2, but the normal hours apply to the meat market. They have amazing sandwiches at the deli. At the meat market, they have super good prepared meals you can just throw in the oven, they have so many cuts of steak it's crazy, and they have lots of smoked sausage, jerky, and beef sticks which are super good. The beef is really high quality and the people are friendly, you get what you pay for here, absolutely love and can recommend.
I am a mama of twin toddlers and the amazing women of Leon River Premium Beef bring my order out to me so I do not have to break out the double stroller! These ladies go over and beyond with customer service and offer quality products! Love this place!
My friends and I ate lunch there and it was great! We bought flavored balsamic vinegar and oils plus a box of local beef. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. A definite return when we are in town! Check it out!
Seriously!!! I met the owner and she was incredibly nice. The meat is from their ranch and it is very good! The pricing was fair as well. What really caught my attention was the massive selection of infused barrel aged balsamic vinegars!!! I was shocked and believe me you, it was difficult making a decision on what one's I wanted. Happy customer, I will be back!
