WesLend is a scam. Whoever I spoke to was incredibly rude, aggressive and condescending. They will waste a ton of your time and then tell you that there are thousands of $$ for closing costs for their "no closing cost" loans.
The worst company to work with! I was ready to close and they came back with rule changes and and wanted me to increase my score before closing. They simply did not tell the truth.
We tried to start a refi with this company and we provided all the docs and are now getting crickets from our loan officer. Thats fine I understand we are building our credit back after a tough time but at least have the maturity to reach out and say it will not work so we can explore other options The hiding from calls is something I can not understand.
Get customer service, get agents that know what they are doing, communicate and finish up a closing somewhat timely. Just normal things for a mortgage company that you lack.
***UPDATE TO MY REVIEW WRITTEN YESTERDAY*** First, I’m extremely upset that my review wasn’t even acknowledged. Second, we complied with all other underwriting requests and had everything submitted first thing this morning and still no urgency behind their process to move our loan to the front of the line. Horrible experience. 3 month of waiting, finally we had to cancel. Never heard back from them again. They should get their act together. If they can't refinance, they should just say so, instead of being dishonest and making us wait. Everyday we had to call to check on status and every day our loan officer would tell us that today he will have an answer. At the end, he would not even return our phone calls.
