Super cute store with a mix of handmade and vintage items - located downtown within close walking distance of cafe’s, coffee shops, an art gallery, and other antique stores. Also a great place to learn about the history of Palatka or get info on upcoming community events.
This is a super cute store that is curated of local vendors who handcraft the items. There is an eclectic collection of items that you may find. The place is decorated with local history like Florida maps and brochures, a bag from a paper route for the local Palatka Daily News paper. My favorite thing is the art-o-matic that is made from an old cigarette dispenser. You purchase a token from the clerk (usually the owner herself), and insert it into the machine. We enjoyed visiting the Lemon Street Market & Mercantile today. I really like that the name of the shop pays homage to the fact that St. John’s Avenue used to be called Lemon Street. They have antiques as well as other unique products. The proprietor was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
