I am amending my review from one star to three as of Sept 2026 based on the promise from the new residence director, who is the director who opened the building ~8 years ago, that she has returned and is capable of rebuilding it into an actual thriving community again. (For the past several months they have been in a staff turn-over CRISIS at both the leadership and hands-on care levels that had created nightmare situations for myself and other families.) If you are reading this in August 2026 - DO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! Yes, it is clean and nicely decorated - it gives you upscale hotel vibes which your mom or dad will find appealing if you tour. But they are in a staff turn-over CRISIS at both the leadership and hands-on care levels and so unless you are lucky enough that your loved one is an easy Level 1 personal care / mostly independent and you can afford to be self-pay - it will be nightmare for you (esp if you are paying with LTC insurance) and leave your loved o... read more

The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The building was exceptionally clean and well organized, and I loved its authentic vintage charm and character.

I toured Legend of Allentown this morning and WOW! This place is incredible! Super clean, extremely friendly staff who genuinely cares about the residents and will go above and beyond for everyone they encounter. Staff that had the biggest impact on my tour was Tyler Fisher who is a true asset to this facility and loves what he does, he gave the best tour and explained everything in such detail that I didn’t have any questions when I was leaving.
