Please do not use Legend Bank for your mortgage. They had us open a savings account that our payment would be automatically drawn from each month by their own internal process. At some point the mortgage department moved to another branch after a long term employee left the company. The new branch did not seem to understand how the process worked and did not draw out the payment from our account even though we had several months payments available. Since I moved to the texoma area in 2016, Legend Bank has provided all of my banking needs. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Their satellite branch (convenience center) is great too. The Downton branch is a full service banking center, with everything from deposit boxes to staff to help open accounts. While banking is not one of my favorite chores, the staff makes it a pleasant experience for me every time.
