I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent bank. I called ahead to ask if I could cash a business check—was told “yes, just bring something showing you own the business.” I show up with everything they asked for, and suddenly it’s a whole different story. Please do not use Legend Bank for your mortgage. They had us open a savings account that our payment would be automatically drawn from each month by their own internal process. At some point the mortgage department moved to another branch after a long term employee left the company. The new branch did not seem to understand how the process worked and did not draw out the payment from our account even though we had several months payments available.
