Intake worker by the name of Naomi, took on my case, she called me and told me she had contacted the proper case workers and then Naomi asked me to call her back to set up an appointment with her, This was Dec 20th, 2024. I have called after the holidays and I still have not received a phone call. Legal Assistance Windsor helped me to get what I needed. Highly recommend to have representation for rental tribunal hearings. Unfortunately my lawyer was condescending when she spoke to me on the phone, seemed to make my simple case more complicated, and ignored my emails and phone calls, but the important aspect of helping me to stay in my apartment was achieved and all worked out great in the end. Perhaps I would have had the same achievement without representation.
