I would not recommend Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County based on my experience. If you decide to use them, document EVERYTHING from day one until your last interaction: every phone call, date, time, who you spoke with, what you were told, every email, and every document you provide. Keep your own records because you may need them later. I contacted Legal Aid for assistance with serious housing issues involving Adopt-A-Family and provided them with documentation concerning my situation. If your a victim of domestic violence do not use this firm-please find alternative. My attorney automatically dismissed my case from seeing Respondents evidence which was edited-refused to see my actual evidence. She was in contact with the Respondent instead of contacting me-I had to contact her. Before court she sent blank evidence and I didn't know what to bring to court no time to find another attorney and at court she communicated with the Respondent and said nothing to me. No stars. The worst place to try and get assistance. They can never assist and help you. It's always we are at a high capacity. Leave your name and number and no one ever retruns the call. The place needs to be shut down!!!
