EDIT -- Legal Aid gives great service for walk-ins! I got my case entered in (long but not severe wait) and assigned a lawyer who called in a couple days! I'm sure the lawyer would have walked me through hearings, if I had needed it. My lawyer gave me a direct line and always answered. I was a walk-in at opening time Monday morning. Have to fill out application online and someone will call you. Can't get no service in office

They claim they can help with unemployment claims. However, I believe this to be quite false. They did an intake and followed up with me asking if I would e-mail them my documents. I did and explained the retailiation that I received from employer as well as, circumstances. And never heard from them after that. I only recieved a letter weeks later telling me that their resources are stretched blah blah blah...and here is a resource list with places that has no relevance to the assistance that you are needing. They are a sham... read more
